The Bowery Electric is an internationally known, 400-capacity music venue, bar, and nightclub located in a musically historical area of NYC on Bowery in the East Village, launched in late 2008. I joined in its infancy and elevated the business to achieve over $3 million in annual sales globally by defining and implementing operations, strategies, and logistics to build and increase income through the venue.

• Secured, programmed, and managed all private events: parties, holiday shows, film shoots, showcases, bar mitzvahs, wedding parties, wrap parties, and more.
• Booked music shows seven nights per week.
• Designed special musical events with very special guest performers.
• Host and work with performers.
• Oversaw all venue branding for advertising and social media.
• Hired, fired, trained, and scheduled a 50-person staff.
• Worked with weekend pop music dance party DJs, and oversaw in-house playlists, updating music playlists and DJs every six months.
• Managed finances and budgets for staff salaries, advertising, performers, and office expenses.
• Handled all issues regarding customer service.
• Launched outdoor café at Bowery Electric while creating a compact food menu.
• Worked with insurance carriers and local law enforcement.
• Attend monthly Community Board meetings.

Worked in coordination with the BFA programming and production team, including the APF Artistic Director, the Theatre Row Director of Theatre Operations, and other relevant staff.

• Worked with the BFA team and relevant stakeholders to coordinate a pre-production work plan based on the production timeline for the project. • Worked with the APF Artistic Director to facilitate the pre-production needs of the project.
• Coordinated schedules, musical materials, etc. With award winners for the purposes of project presentation, scheduled for the evening of Monday, February 28, 2023.
• Wrangled and coordinated talent, including musicians, designers, technicians, and special guests, for a seamless Awards Show and Ceremony.

• Adam Schlesinger: A Music Celebration, Virtual Show, May 5th.
• A recognized tribute show dedicated to Adam Schlesinger, winner of various awards for his work in the band The Fountains of Wayne, and his extended career as a songwriter in film, television, and Broadway.
• The online show gave tribute to this hit songwriter, producer, and performer, and featured an array of performers, including Sean Lennon, Glenn Tilbrook, Courtney Love, and James Iha.
• Proceeds to The Bowery Electric and MusiCares. (2000 tickets sold)
• *A Celebration of the Music Life of Sylvain Sylvain of the NY Dolls - Virtual.
• Tribute show to Sylvain Mizrahi, guitarist and songwriter of the NY Dolls. Included special guests: David Johansen, Debbie Harry,and Bob Gruen. (1400 tickets sold, plus)
