Responsible for day to day operations at Robert J. Fite Elementary. Responsibilities included but not limited to student safety, supervision, and discipline, supervision and evaluation of both certificated and classified staff, effective management and allocation of site funds to support the academic and social-emotional needs of all students, and developing professional learning opportunities for staff. Cultivated meaningful relationships with families to ensure their voices were heard and valued. Engaged families, teachers, and staff in purposeful dialogue in order to meet the needs of the entire school community and sought feedback and input from all stakeholders for the development of the site LCAP. Encouraged and supported family and parent engagment on campus. Developed and implemented a robust music program including regular music education in the classroom and after school band, choir, and drum offerings. Incorporated science, technology, engineering, and visual and performing arts programming into the school by way of assemblies, performances, field trip opportunities, and after-school programs.

Supported the site Principal in day to day operations of the school. Coordinated the Multilingual Learner program on campus, supervised and monitored yard supervisors and classified staff, completed teacher evaluations, developed and monitored student 504 plans, planned and implemented staff professional learning programs, and monitored student safety and discipline.

Taught grades 2, 4, 5, and 6, including combination classes. Experience teaching on both year-round and traditional calendars. Provided extra-curricular activities for students as the school choir director and talent show coordinator.
