Inspect residential real property and record technical details to update department property records.

Maintain records in AAVS.

Analyze existing market data and apply standard appraisal techniques to determine the value of land or buildings.

Prepare and conduct appeal hearings at the Supervisor, PTAAB and Maryland Tax Court and defend the Department's estimate of value.

Provide public guidance on valuation techniques.
