Job History Description
Dollar Tree - I got my first job at Dollar Tree as a Christmas part-time employee, I quickly learned how to use the register and get through the Christmas rush. After the season, they decided to keep me and put me as a stocker and had me unload the truck every week due to my skills. I became an effective stocker for Dollar Tree as well as working the register if needed. My stocking skills are my best, but I can register well with my positive social skills and register skills. I am always on time for work and only call out only if badly sick or emergency. My preferences are morning shifts since that's when I can work most effectively if stocking, my goal is always to get as much done as I can for the company I work for.
Office Max - I mainly was a register at the start of the job, I took care of people who needed to be checked out with the reward system we had in the store. After about 2 months, I started stocking most of the products from pencils to printer ink to even heavy objects like chairs and desks. I learned a lot working at the store and how to promote discounts and awards for the customers in a positive way. Wasn't too different from my first job, just different products to sell and promoting the reward system.
VRPHX - VRPHX was a type of arcade that used virtual reality headsets for entertainment purposes for customers of all ages alike. I basically sold time to customers to use the machines, set them up, and took the payments. I worked Wednesday - Sunday every week and had a very busy and positive work environment. I worked with coworkers and alone on certain days and kept the place busy and customers happy as best as I can. Due to COVID, my hours got cut for a while and the place ended up shutting down unfortunately and most stores at Paradise Valley Mall, but when I was there I believe I applied my skills very well with customer service and tech to provide the customers and the company itself with what they needed.
