

Dedicated Human Resources Benefits Coordinator works effectively to administer benefit programs accurately, timely and efficiently. Applies knowledge of compliance with policies, plan documents and federal and state regulations to support HR operations. Maintains extensive knowledge of changes affecting employment-related benefit programs.
• Counsel and assist employee’s enrollment in the College benefit programs, keeping detailed records of employee insurance information.
• Administer, evaluate and maintain College benefits programs.
• Work with Payroll Manager to ensure proper allocation of payroll, benefit, and other expenses to proper budget codes.
• Manage the College’s statutory benefit programs including unemployment, workers’ compensation, COBRA, and support employee claims processes and participation.
• Administer FMLA in compliance with federal law and College policy, and provide guidance to employees in need of leaves/absences.
• Responsible for the development and execution of annual open enrollment and employee benefit event.
• Respond to employee inquiries and concerns related to benefits, leave, including onboarding and off-boarding/exit interviews.
• Engage in continuous education regarding relevant employment and benefit policies, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Maintain relationships with benefit vendors, providers, third party administrators, and consultants to the College and/or the HR Department.

• Administered the agency's Wellness Program and Lead the Wellness Committee; manage wellness challenges and activities to keep employees engaged in developing and maintaining healthy lifestyles
• Responsible for processing new hires and all accompanying paperwork
