After obtaining my RN license and orientation I was Charge Nurse on my shift in this 60 bed hospital. I worked with 4 LPN's who stayed at the nurses stations. We cared for Med/Surg, OB, Surgery, Nursery. ER and 2 monitored beds. Rounded on all patients, administered meds to babies and Monitored patients. Assessed all patients that came into the ER, attended all births, and delivered a few in ER when necessary.
