In this position I was responsible for the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments also prepared case carts needed for upcoming surgical procedures ensuring that all the needed instruments were present in the case carts. This involved interaction with physicians, vendors of equipment , team members and other departments and adherence to their guidelines also made delivery of surgical instruments and supplies to the correct location/ department within the hospital. I was promoted to shift lead which includes directing and assigning of tasks of shift employees and charged with resolution of any issues and requests from the O.R. dept during shift.
