OBJECTIVE:

To obtain a position in the general sterilization or restocking that will allow me to utilize mu skills, experience and to contribute a friendly environment.

Clean and set up treatments room for scheduled procedures. Prepares, Decontaminates, and disinfects instrument, trays set up and instruments sterilization. The Sterile Processing Technician is assigned duties performing sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the surgical center, utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process. Steam sterilization (autoclave) Dry heat sterilization. Unsaturated chemical vapor sterilize.

• Wrapped trays, instrument packs, and sets.
• Maintained clean and organized sterile processing areas to prevent contamination of instruments and equipment.
• Decontaminated surgical instruments to remove bacteria and other contaminants before sterilization.
• Operated specialized equipment using steam, gas and chemical methods to sterilize equipment.
