Assessed crime statistics and interpreted data from internal software of the Washington County Sheriff's Office. Developed programs and education based on data to deliver to the pubic in a variety of ways. Gave presentations to, and partnered with businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations, neighborhood groups and all other community members. Presentations included crime prevention strategies, personal safety, fraud awareness, identity theft, child safety, specific information pertaining to the Sheriff's Office and a myriad of other topics.

Provided information via, emails, newsletters, social media, phone, in person, group web meetings and webinars.

Acted as liaison to Sheriff's Office by bringing back concerns and communications from groups.

Coordinated and implemented safety and community fairs, county fair booths, community events, levy information events, conferences, and trainings utilizing partners across the county and state.

Worked with the community and patrol to address crime trends. Assisted neighborhoods, businesses, and schools in implementing changes to current policies and procedures to prevent or mitigate crimes. Developed Neighborhood Watch program for department and assisted over a hundred neighborhoods and businesses in implementing the program in their communities and neighborhoods.

After working as uniformed patrol officer from July 2000 to April 2002, returned to the position of Crime Prevention Officer with same duties as described above.
