- AT SSP Fittings, i worked in their new business model, tube bending and assemblies for CNG and alternative fuels market (also some H2 and hydraulic hybrid business). I grew the business from $1m to $3M in 2 years from 2009-2011.
-in 2012, the company division was spun into a new group called AFV, where I was product sales manager. I continued focus on CNG and alt fuel vehicle upfitters and system providers. Impco, Westport, Mainstay, Quantum, Momentum Fuel and Hexagon Agility were key customers. We were a Weh distributor, selling receptacles and nozzle/hose assemblies to the market besides tube bending. By 2015 this also included CRP Industrial (CNG certified hoses, and CNG manifold assemblies).
-in 2015, the business reached $12m in sales and we were spun off by one of the owners into InsightFuel, LLC. I worked there until the doors closed in 2019. The CNG market took a downturn in 2016. System customers went out of business or merged with others. Most began doing their own tube assemblies during this period of consolidation.
-Besides sales responsibility, i also worked on the CNG/H2 CSA tag committees on standards.
