Management of Apprenticeship Programs –
These individual programs have significantly increased the number of well-trained medical and nursing support during the current nationwide nursing shortage in a cost-effective manner. This program is proving to have great success in increasing the number of inspiring nurses to the community while also aiming the goal to decrease/eliminate SDOH.
Developed and Implementation of Meaningful Rounding Program and Department Based Call-Back System –
This system and method provide urgent assistance to address patient care needs resulting in fewer HAIs, Falls, Pressure Ulcers and better patient outcomes in addition to improv. The MRP was first used to introduce and promote the use of SBAR format of reporting in the Singing River Healthcare System.
