  • I have worked at Crete Carrier for 9 years, I have worked a variety of shifts, 3 years of night shift where I covered up to 500+ drivers at once. I then took over my own board of drivers when I moved to day shift where I manage 60 drivers every day. I was also a load planner for a year and have experience with distributing loads to 100s of drivers. Some of my daily tasks include-
  • Assigning loads and routes drivers based upon available hours and customer needs.
  • Serve as main point-of-contact for an assigned customer base and monitors all customer-specific loads from the time the load is tendered until it is delivered.
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities, as needed, to effectively manage drivers including coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Communicate customer issues and concerns with the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Monitor trailer pools at assigned customer locations, coordinates movement of trailers when necessary, and provides guidance if trailer detention issues arise.
  • Validate driver hours of service in order to safely and legally facilitate the delivery of loads.
  • Balance time off requests made by drivers with the operational need to move freight.
