To whom it may concern:
As in working with the insurance industry, there has never needed a resume. This does sound strange, even to me, but the insurance industry only needed certification of passing the Louisiana State Board of Insurance test and licensure. Requirements have changed in the last couple of years. I guess there is very much caution about who companies hire to represent their industry. Here is hoping this will suffice and if there are any questions or concerns, please inform exactly what additional information is needed.
In 1985, while living in Birmingham, AL, the work as a funeral pre-arrangement counselor for Ridout Brown Service Funeral Home. During that time, applicants were required to take the state test to receive a funeral directors license. Taking care of the customers knowing that during the most difficult time in their lives, losing a loved one, individuals would have everything done and could concentrate on healing. Not to mention that when the funeral is prearranged, it freezes their cost to prevent them from paying more when the arrangements are needed. In addition to the previous, there was working for Waffle House as a waitress. After a couple of years, Waffle House offered a promotion for manager at the Hattiesburg, MS. store.
Then in the summer of 1990, there was a move to Kaplan, Louisiana to get married. Meanwhile, there was a need for help to open Waffle House stores in local towns located in Henderson, LA., Lafayette, LA. and Crowley, LA.
In the fall of 2003, there was the decision to take some courses at the local Community College. The degree in 2005 was with Honors. My mother moved to Kaplan, LA. in December of 2004, which presented the need of constant attention until passing in June, 2006.
In 2009, the decision to test for the Louisiana State insurance license presented itself. Passing the exam on the first attempt was amazing, and beginning to work with Humana, Aetna and Cigna, selling Medicare Supplements and Medicare Advantage protection was of great benefit. There was little need to learn life insurance but as the importance of selling life renewed itself, the study of life insurance will enhance the renewal of the 2022 license. With the wonderful, patient and loving voice which presents itself over the phone, the passion felt comes across clearly. Beginning to work with Humana, Aetna, Cigna, selling Medicare Supplements also Medicare Advantage protection was of great benefit. Growth personally and professionally in this sales career has become invaluable. Life is, looking forward to continuing to build on assets within this company. Becoming stronger and more courageous in all future endeavors.
