RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead developer of the AMES Plus web application, which supplements the functionality of the ENVISION Enterprise MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) application.
• The AMES Plus application tracked aircraft inspections, material costs, mission tracking, and fuel cost tracking.
• Contributed to software architectural decisions and standards that resulted in a more scalable and maintainable web application.
• Adhere to standardized tools and methodologies to ensure governance with the Federal Government.

BACKGROUND

The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (or "PUA") program provides benefits for many individuals ineligible for state unemployment benefits, including self-employed workers, 1099 tax filers and part-time workers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement solution to process unemployment batch data received from the state to determine eligibility as well as determine payment disbursements via debit card or ACH direct deposit.
• Monitored server health in an Amazon Web Services Cloud environment.
• Debugged long running batch processes across multiple servers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Created an ASP.NET web API which receives clinical study data from a 3rd party vendor. This data is saved and compiled to create reports and then submitted to the ClinicalTrials.gov web site for evaluation from the Federal Government.
• Updated the user interface to reflect the API Data being collected using Angular 5 with services to communicate with the MVC back end.
• This project resulted in a more efficient submission of studies to the ClinicalTrials.gov web site as it reduced errors by 40%

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinated and translated business requirements into a fully functioning automated solution for Corning, Inc.

• Developed, documented and maintained a standard operating procedures for automation of processes. This Bot simulated the entering of billing information into PeopleSoft web software.

• Developed and supported Metabots, Work Queues and Bot Scheduling within Automation Anywhere.

• Demonstrated the bot functionality with the end users and refined the process given feedback.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta Georgia

The CDC is the leading national public health institute of the United States. The CDC is a United States federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

PROJECT:

Overseas Business Management System (OBMS) Web Application

This purpose of the OBMS web site is to create global travel requests

for CDC employees traveling overseas. These requests would go through an approval process where a supervisor would approve or deny a travel request based on a series of estimated costs. These costs would vary depending on your origin and destination country. This application also communicated with the State Department’s per diem web site in an effort to accurately estimate the per diem cost of travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managed a team of 3 remote developers, requirements gathering as well as governance communication with the client in an effort to adhere to strict architecture and security standards
• Perform detailed design documentation, debugging and implementation of technical products, software programming applications
• Work with the customer to evaluate complex user requests and clarify objectives for new applications and services
• Prepare project documentation for each SDLC phase
• Communicate weekly progress reports to senior management
• Demo of prototypes to Directors at the CDC

PROJECT:

E-score Energy Efficiency Web Site

The goal of this project is to upgrade low income homes throughout the Tennessee Valley to standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The website would record an inventory of appliances, doors and windows and determine the best replacement of these items in an effort to achieve the optimal EPA score for efficiency. The data collected from this web application would be exported to the EPA in JSON format.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a team of four developers where my duties included software architecture, development, coaching, performance and code reviews
• Communicate project progress and risks with the Senior Manager
• Demonstration of web application features to the end user and recorded any feedback
• Creation of technical and functional documentation of the web site
• Creation of test scripts against gathered requirements

Maintenance of the OneSolution software suite that powers all aspects of managing local government.

The public sector technology platform provides solutions for public safety, including 911, dispatch, records, mobile and jail. For public administration agencies, they provide software for finance, HR/payroll, utilities, citizen engagement, community development, property tax, municipal services and asset management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Level 3 Production maintenance on the OneSolution Enterprise Application.
• Troubleshooting high level bugs and communicating fixes to the development team via Microsoft Dynamics.
• Customer facing duties which include describing technical issues in plain English to the end user as well as maintain a good relationship with the end user.

Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts

Developer on the Textile Order Processing System (T.O.P.S) project. T.O.P.S. is an application that processes order and delivery of all textile items used at the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implemented the vertical stack of the MVC3 architecture which included creating the Domain Layer from the Entity Framework 4.5, Coding the Repository Layer using LINQ queries, Service Layer and Razor as the View Engine.
• Created a .NET console application which reconciled data between TOPS and the Enterprise Garment processing application.
• Developer on the Payment Processing System. This is a middleware application which sits between two enterprise applications. The .NET middleware applications communicates with these applications via WCF web services and a Windows service with Message Queuing.

• Collaborating with the business to identify their needs as well as suggested a few functional add-ins that would benefit the consumer.
• Consumed several external WCF web services which performed lookups of physicians in an enrollee’s zip code.
• Coordinating with the DBA’s, network system engineers and developers to identify needs, risk and benefits to the technical requirements.
