Drain Masters is my families business, and I've been helping out around there as long as I can remember. I work there full time when I don't have school and cover some weekends throughout the school year. Through this I've worked on many different types of jobsites, including new construction. I have experience being on jobsites and communicating with site foreman and trade professionals about project details. I've also shadowed under Professional Engineer Kenny Andela, who used to work for the DOT. On multiple occasions I've joined him for a day to help perform perc tests, take measurements, and come up with plans for sewer systems. Its because of these experiences I believe I can be a great asset for the DOT. My goal is to become a civil engineer and I have interest in pursuing a career with the DOT.
