Currently i am working at Ivy as a "Repair technician" and there has been a lot of challenges. When i first started IVY i started in "DELL DEPOT". Replaced defective components with compatible replacements sourced from suppliers for example; how to change the motherboards, Bezels, keyboards, speakers, etc. I had to diagnose the product before i had request the necessary components. I Repaired and performed quality testing of products to meet established specifications. Around Mid December i got moved to CISCO. I was taught how to test MEMORY'S, HARD DRIVES, and PSU'S. At first it wasn't an easy task to learn how to test all 3 but I eventually got the hang of it. In CISCO I do IQA which is adding more information about the unit after it gets received. Then I proceed to test the unit, if the unit fails I end up failing it systemically and if the unit passes i end up sending it to touch and clean which is packout. Throughout the time that i have been in CISCO i have also learned to do IQA in switches and did a bit of packout for switches. i have been given opportunities to learn different work areas and I will proceed to want to learn more.

In CHEDDARS i had multiple positions, one of them was being a "TOGO" It was my job to answer phone calls, receive payments, take orders out to customers after being packaged. Approached customers and engaged in conversation through use of effective interpersonal and people skills. "Hosts" was a second position i was given to learn. In my opinion this was one of the most important positions in a restaurant, when customers are entering the building it is my duty to make them feel welcomed by greeting them. I took reservations over the phone and in person, provided customers with accurate wait times and monitored waiting list, Worked with servers to make sure they were ready to serve other tables, and performed walk-throughs during service to monitor guest satisfaction and advise serving and bussing staff of specific guest needs. Bartending was a third position i was honored to do when working there. Bartending wasn't an easy position, I had to prepared cocktails from bar recipes and served wine, Draft and bottled beer, Ensured proper sanitation of bar area, Glassware, Utensils, and Equipment, Monitored guests' alcohol consumption levels to prevent over-intoxication or underage drinking, Checked identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase and Promoted high customer satisfaction by resolving problems with knowledgeable and friendly service.

Working at Salsaritas was a challenge, i had the opportunity to work in almost all the positions from day and night shifts. Learned how to prep the food before opening hours. I had Operated cash registers to process payments from customers. Greeted customers upon entering the store with friendly demeanor, performed opening and closing duties such as setting up displays, restocking items, and cleaning the sales floor. Check up on customers to see if they needed any refills, togo boxes, bags etc. I had also Picked up shifts that were dropped from other team members, and had helped my coworkers when they needed the help.
