  • Built rapport with the Director and other Coordinators of the Mediation center by demonstrating empathy, active listening skills, and competence during meetings.
  • Contributed to improved work/learning materials for middle school and high school youth on communication, collaboration, and problem-solving techniques for conflict resolution.
  • Was one of the founding members of Youth Council for the mediation Center where we work towards events for the youth and discussing better ways to mediate at Savannah Chatham County Schools
  • Being a part of Positive Peer influencers helped me curate ways to spread awareness about drug abuse and substance usage to middle schoolers being a high school student.

  • Interpreted and analyzed research data in the community amongst youth; helping understand important issues.
  • Gave several testimonies at the Georgia State Capitol on different issues such as HB-1105 which directly affected immigrant/ students of color being able to focus on education in their schools.
  • Also visited the Capitol in DC in April to speak to lobbyists on current issues as well as talking to other organizations such as Critical Exposure that were doing important work representing the youth.
