I presently work with the OB/GYN population in an ambulatory setting on a part time level. I frequently float between two clinic locations

for Duke Women Health Associates. My main job function is caring for the Obstetrical patient, providing them and their families are as follows.

  • Preliminary review and preparation of internal and external records of previous OB care and any medical conditions
  • Conduct nurse visits to include education about routine care for the duration of their OB journey.
  • Discuss prenatal testing ,genetic testing and any necessary referrals due to preexisting medical conditions
  • As the pregnancy progresses, I will facilitate vaccinations, Glucose tolerance testing and engage in lactation education.
  • Additionally perform pregnancy non stress tests as ordered by the providers.
