I became Gluten Free in my fifties, not by choice. I've always loved baking. I perfected a few GF recipes and had enough people suggesting I should sell my goods. I baked and kept track of my inventory for Otherlands. I stopped because I now have a pottery studio and wanted more time doing that.
I was the main retail sales associate for the second location of the Spice and Tea Exchange. Included in the job was managing inventory, ordering new products, visual merchandising, and customer service. This location was in a heavy tourist area. I was able to recommend spices as well as other attractions.
I was part of the original crew that opened the St Augustine Distillery.
The owners restored an old ice plant, which I loved. This was the first distillery to produce and sell under the same roof. There was a very complicated Point of Sale procedure, which changed as the laws changed. My duties included customer service, helping with inventory, restocking, working special events.
