TVA Adopt a Spot at Johnsons Ridge on Cherokee Lake with TVA's Suzanne Fisher and Brian Stewart, 2019

  • Assisted in implementation and received training on water runoff techniques to preserve trails in the area for esthetic and safety purposes. Partook in litter pickup for good stewardship. Overall, ensuring a safe environment for the wildlife and general public.

Kill the Dam Invasives Event at Fontana Dam, 2019

  • Removed non-native, invasive species like Russian olive, vinca, mahonia, honeysuckle, thorny olive, and oriental bittersweet from both sides of the Fontana Dam, where the National Forests meet the National Park and the Tennessee Valley Authority land. Helped inspire economic, conservation, and stewardship improvement ideas surrounding the A.T.

Access Life Expo on Cherokee Lake, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2013

  • Assisted people affected by disabilities with fishing and kayaking.

Living Lands and Waters Cleanup on TN River, Chattanooga, TN, 2017

  • Released sturgeon into the French Broad River and partook in educating people about the benefits and history of sturgeon.

Spring Sport Bass Survey on Douglas Lake with TVA's Charlie Saylor and John Justice, 2012

  • Surveyed a variety of fish in Douglas Lake. Recorded data regarding fish population size structure, recruitment, growth, density, and mortality.
