Extracurricular Activities

  • Loveland Show Choir (Position-Alto vocal captain) [10th grade - Present] I work as an alto vocal captain, making sure everyone in our section knows their notes and setting an example as a leader. My accomplishments in this group have been two solos in our fall shows and a solo in our ballad for competition season. Our group has consistently finished between 1st and 3rd place in competitions since I started.
  • Peer Tutoring (Position-Tutor) [12th grade - Present] Each week I work with students in younger grades through the Loveland Peer Tutoring Program. I've taught students task management skills, and helped them with classes such as AP Psychology, Biology, English 9, and World History. The experience has increased my communication skills, and shown me how to listen and truly hear what my peers want or need.
  • Loveland High School Track and Field (Position - Sprinter) [11th grade - Present] I compete in the 4 x 200 Relay, 4 x 100 Relay, 200 Meter Dash, and Long Jump.
  • Healthcare Club (Position-Member) [11th grade - Present] I go to healthcare talks and medical facilities, like Beacon Orthopedics. I do this to learn more about the different medical and wellness fields because of my interest in healthcare as a future profession.
  • Drama (Position-Cast/Crew) [9th grade - 11th grade] My responsibilities started out as light management, designing the cues for the actors on stage and coordinating the backdrops. After that, I turned to auditions and started working as a cast member in a few shows that have been given Cappies Awards.
  • Link Crew (Position-Link Crew Member) [12th grade - Present] During the beginning of the year, my responsibility as a link crew member was to help introduce the freshman to their new school and be a good example as a friendly face.
