The abuse prevention certificate was to better understand what to do when children are being abused, what to do when you feel the need to hit a child, the right way to handle children who aren't listening, different types of abuse, and signs that there might be something going on with a teacher and a child. The SIDS certificate helped us better understand what sudden infant death syndrome was and how we can prevent it from happening. One of the things that could be done is keeping the infant's crib clean at all times, Laying on their back unless told otherwise, making sure their bed sheets are put on correctly, and checking up on them every 10-15 minutes. The ServSafe certificate helps us better understand how to handle food and how to clean and sanitize it correctly, It also helps us understand the signs in case you get sick from the food you eat. The CPR training helped me to better understand what to do when there is an emergency and someone is unresponsive. The CCDF health and safety training helped me better understand all of the procedures needed to follow when working with kids.
