August 2019 to December 2023
- I learned different areas of law enforcement in weekly meetings, community outreach programs, physical fitness programs, life skills training, and various team building activities while being in the post.
- On January 24th 2022, I was promoted to a Sergeant where I had my own squad that I would inform them on the uniform and equipment requirements they will need for the meeting.
- On June 26th 2023, I was promoted to the Commander of the post where my duties included informing the sergeants on the duties for the day and making sure they communicate with their squads. I also made sure the explorers studied their required codes to prepare them for any surprise exams.
- In addition to being a Commander, I was in charge of relaying information regarding the explorers to the Glendale Police Sergeant that was in charge of the post.
- We also volunteered in different events the city threw such as Glendale Glitters, Stand Up For Vets, Sergeant testing as one of the actors, Glendale Police Department Award Banquet, Gain Event, and Car Seat Detail
- We also participated in Explorer competitions where we went against different posts in events that were designed to challenge us in different aspects of law enforcement,
