When I moved to Washington from my small farm town in North Carolina, I was immediately taken by the amount of opportunity to meet incredible people with incredible stories. My path as an herbalist has taken me to great places, especially now that I work with Mountain Rose Herbs. My job is what introduced me to KEXP and connected me with what you all stand for. I resonate so much with the authentic independence you all give the world. My boss gave me the opportunity to help out Mountain Rose's pop up at the KEXP BBQ and I had so much fun witnessing the dedication that goes into such an amazing community event.
My hope is to hone in on my skills as event coordinator through a new lens and experience community through my other passion, which is local music!
