My father experienced a slight stroke when his wife passed in the night.

He came to live with me for 3 years in Saline. He was diagnosed with dementia and only lived three years with it.

I managed food medications , doctor appointment. Redirection tools worked for my benefit, as Well as his. Redirection was the primary role for me.Also ADL's which actually were a little difficult.. I had to keep track of him and his mind set. I learned so much from this difficult illness.

I then retired for 2 years however, i am a caregiver , and that's what I do

I had an elderly couple I worked for in their home. The wife needed the care.We did chores cooking shopping medication.\nAnd assistance personally speaking. She passed.

The couple was married for 64 years, and the husband asked me to.Please stay on until he passed in 2022..

I worked in the adult foster care home as a manager, we had six ladies for twenty five years. five of the residents were schizophrenic, I transported them to day programs, dispensed medications, made all doctor appointments ordered all medication. I hired staff. I arranged their schedule. I planned and shopped and cooked all meals.. i interacted with all of the ladies , I addressed ADL'S. It was the best job i've ever had, personally , speaking , I feel the need to take care of others.
