At this time of training, I was assigned eight patients daily, a total of seven clinical days. Each clinical day was a twelve-hour shift. My goal as their assigned caretaker for the day was not only to help them with their everyday physical tasks, but also to help them with their mental well-being. Using the knowledge I was trained with, I would assist each patient with care, making sure to fully assess the situation not only to optimize my productivity, but also to ensure the comfort of my patients.
