During my time at Mosaic Learning Center, I gained valuable hands-on experience in early childhood education. As a Childcare Assistant, I supported a wonderful lead teacher who spoke Spanish, and together we achieved excellent results in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children aged 18 months to 2 years. My primary language is Portuguese, and working closely with a Spanish-speaking teacher allowed us to effectively communicate and collaborate, enhancing the learning experience for the children. I was responsible for engaging the children in educational activities, maintaining a safe and clean classroom, and assisting with daily routines such as meals and nap time. I also developed strong communication skills, regularly interacting with parents to provide updates on their children's progress. Unfortunately, I had to leave this position due to my husband's military transfer to Washington.
