Hi! Looking forward, my ultimate goal is to become a NICU or CVICU nurse. I absolutely love children and providing individualized care for each person. I am dedicated to fostering safe, patient care, as well as ensuring a nurturing and communicative environment for patients. I aim to make all patients feel understood and valued, and to feel as if they are getting the best care possible during this vulnerable, unpredictable time in the hospital. Often, nurses are the last line of defense, so it is vital to closely monitor any changes in our patients' status to provide strong, evidence-based care. Compassionate professional with experience in food service and childcare. Known for strong communication and teamwork skills, effectively engaging with customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional service and promote a safe environment. I am a devoted professional with hands-on experience cultivating warm, nurturing environments for children. I am capable of organizing and leading educational activities and monitoring behavior that focuses on promoting health and development in children.
Prepared catering meals and assembled bowls for customers.
I absolutely loved this position and was able to provide care and ensure safety to two children for the summer. This role included cleaning the house, providing meals, helping with homework, and taking the kids to their evening practices. I was able to plan engaging activities to stimulate their young minds and aid in their development, as well as comfort them in times of need. Being a nanny deepened my compassion for others and my desire to pursue a career in healthcare. It helped me learn to monitor changes in individuals' moods and helped cultivate strong communication skills between children and parents. Through this role, I learned how to better manage my time and others' schedules. Overall, I genuinely loved the caring aspect and providing a safe, loving environment for the children to be able to grow.
As a daycare assistant, I provided supervision and care for infants 3-11 months old. I maintained their routine feeds and naptimes, as well as engaged them in developmental tasks. This role helped me grow my hygiene management, as I was always washing my hands to provide the safest environment for the growing babies. Being a daycare assistant also grew my communication skills and documentation skills. The parents loved hearing feedback on how their child acted and was cared for while they were working. I carefully followed all children's safety guidelines and I count it as a privilege to have been able to take care of children while their parents were providing.
