• Anchor Club is an all-girls community service club at Leon High School,

• Throughout the year, we work with special organizations, such as United Way, Second Harvest, Boys Town, and Wounded Warrior
• We also set up our own fundraisers such as Poker Run, Food Drives, and campus clean ups

• Responsible for increasing student and community participation in the year-long fundraising, which consisted of maintaining a consistent line of communication between myself and the student body and coordinating events with other schools to increase community awareness and participation.

Dance Marathon is a student-led organization that raises awareness for sick children at our local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. During my years in this club, I have organized meetings, fundraised, rallied support for the cause, prepared on campus and off campus events, and reached out to friends and families to help this cause.

• Wrote short stories about my teacher and classmates, watched movies such as Dead Poet’s Society, The Post, and Shattered Glass
• Sports Editor and wrote short stories on our schools’ sports teams
• Had a column in our schools’ newspaper, along with our online paper.
