I have spent the past year volunteering within a first grade classroom. While this has helped me work towards my future goals of becoming an educator, it also taught me how to listen and communicate with a wide range of ages and personalities. From kids who aren't sure how to express their needs to adults who struggle with the same problems.  Spending my days in the classroom I have learned the true value the smallest interactions can truly impact another person. I now strive everyday to try my best to make a long lasting positive impact on everyone whom I come across.
