Summary

I am a shift manager with 5 years of food service experience. I am reliable, hard-working, a fast learner and a critical thinker. I have a Bachelor's degree in sociology, and one of my passions in life is inspiring and helping others. I believe that making and serving food is one of the most important jobs there is. A nice, warm meal paired with great customer service can make someone's day and I am proud to be a part of that. My food service experience has centered around the front of house and kitchen, and I am interested in moving towards wait assisting and eventually waitressing or bartending. Outside of work I enjoy swimming, going on hikes, playing guitar, painting, and dog-sitting, as well as going to dinner and watching movies with friends. I am also learning how to DJ and am planning to take a class in music production.

  • I was promoted after 3 months of working as a Team Member and was a reliable Shift Manager for years under multiple different general managers. As a Shift Manager, I was responsible for opening and closing the store as well as managing and training the Team Members. It was my job to make sure everything went smoothly, to talk to disgruntled customers, and to make sure the store was clean and stocked for the following day. I was also in charge of scheduling Team Members’ breaks, counting the register and safe, and making sure the store machines were functioning correctly.
