As a patient care technician, I use my skills from nursing school, in addition to skills that I was trained on during my orientation. I obtain vitals, assist patients with ADLs, collect urine and stool specimens, bladder scan patients, report changes in patient status to the nurse, and perform ekgs.
When i was in high school, i was involved with the Clarence Youth Bureau, which
held different types of community service events that i could participate in. While
in college, I have been involved with the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. Being in the sorority has given me opportunities to participate in college, I have been involved with the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority.
