I am a student-athlete at Rice University pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with minors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, French Studies, and Politics, Law and Social Thought. My academic path reflects my deep interest in the intersections of science, policy, and global issues.
Service and care for others guide my work both inside and outside of the classroom. From nannying during the summer, to empowering women athletes as a National STEM Champion and writer for Voice In Sport, to advocating for the reproductive rights of women in Texas, I have come to recognize the importance of empathy and connection in every environment.
I believe strongly in the value of placing scientific conversations in the broader context of the social sciences, and in the power of science as a diplomatic tool. I am eager to explore opportunities that merge biosciences and global policy, where I can draw on my diverse passions to advance health, equity, and global well-being.
