sustainable plans to move their mission forward.
● Worked with the Board of Directors in refining the vision and 3-year strategic plan that charted the
course for FaithAction International House future.
● Oversaw the financial integrity of FaithAction International House by developing the
annual budget and managing the organization within the scope of the approved budget.
● Served as an advocate on policy issues and championed increased support from elected officials and
policymakers.
● Engaged strategic partners and local organizations throughout North Carolina.

● Provided managerial oversight, guidance, and direction to the Associate Director.
● Responsible for hiring and terminating staff members by FaithAction International house policies and ensured that Human Resources best practices were implemented.
Managed a caseload of 65 families providing case management and goal setting strategies to help
families become self-sufficient.
● Coached parents and other family members on healthy relationships and effective parenting.
● Translated into Spanish all marketing materials and written communication for Hispanic/Latine/LatinX
families such as Parent handbooks, Rules and regulations, and Policies & Procedures.
● Provided on-site interpretation during Parent/Teacher conferences, workshops, parent orientation, and
much more.
● Encouraged parent's participation in the classroom by offering volunteer opportunities that involved the
whole family.
● Coordinated mental health services for children with developmental, and social cognitive delays that
prevented them from learning and reaching their educational benchmarks in the classroom.
