  • On 12th July 2023, I was transferred from North Mara where I was the Logistics Manager to Bulyanhulu Gold Mine to perform as a Swala Fuel Manager
  • In Buly I'm mainly an operations person dedicated to ensuring the operations on site are moving smoothly
  • On fuel operations my responsibilities are;
  • Fuel pre-alert documentation checking and comparing them to the proof of delivery brought by the delivery driver
  • Fuel Lab Administration
  • Quality check and assurance of the fuel brought by the supplier
  • Test the fuel on the following tests
  • 1: Flash Point Test
  • 2: Fuel Density
  • 3: Fuel Appearance
  • Work with Barrick fuel lab technician in making decisions concerning fuel tests before allowing the truck to offload
  • Supervise offloading activities at the fuel bay
  • Prepare the following reports for fuel operations control;
  • 1: Fuel offloading report
  • 2: Fuel trucks turn around report
  • 3: Fuel lab test results report

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace in compliance with Barrick's site safety, health and environmental policies and procedures

  • Ensure proper housekeeping of the cement shed and manage 3rd party casuals
