My parents raised me in Albany, OR as the oldest of three siblings. I attended and graduated from West Albany High School with honors. From my early teens until graduating high school, I spent my summers working on a blueberry farm. After graduating from high school, I went on to attend Corban University while working for the Albany school district as summer help. During my third semester of my second year at Corban, I decided to make a change and work instead. For three and a half years I worked as a technician traveling up and down the west coast installing and repair industrial conveyor belts. in 2018 I moved to Corvallis and decided to return to college and pursue a Bachelor in Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with an emphasis on human services. At the time of writing this, I am a term away from completing this degree. Over the years I have developed a strong passion for helping people with their mental health. There have been opportunities for me to volunteer with aiding those who are living on the streets. My personal story includes a mental health component and I have had the opportunity to attend a handful of trainings regarding the topic. Of my long term goals, one includes working directly in this field.
I enjoy hiking anywhere there is public access; if camping, fishing, and hiking are available in those areas even better. I also enjoy biking whether in the mountains or on a paved trail. To relax and escape to another world, I love reading fictional psychological thrillers
