Goal-oriented individual dedicated to animal welfare. I am a problem-solver with the ability to adjust to changing and high paced environments. I currently manage the ARF dog adoption center and ARF's dog sanctuary house. I also handle contacting, scheduling and communicating with adopters and fosters. I also handle a large majority of the dog surrender applications and dog intakes for ARF. I'm currently also the receptionist for the ARF's vet clinic. While at ARF I have learned a great deal about animal handling/behavior, medical treatments/schedules and interpersonal skills with the public, adopters and other rescue groups. I have seen the positive and joyful side of being a manager at a shelter as well as experiencing the more difficult tasks that come with being a part of such an organization. I believe the skills I have learned while at ARF can be utilized and beneficial at your organization.
