For the last four years I became the sole caregiver for my niece who is now 16 years old. My family and I endured two traumatic events with the passing of my beloved husband and sister in two separate accidents a year apart. My niece is an only child and as a family, my parents and I collectively decided it was in her best interest that I be her guardian therefore I took time off of work to raise her and to travel throughout the United States exploring our beautiful country. Almost three years ago I made the best decision of my life and that was to be sober. I attended IOP and PHP at The Springs in Dublin, OH and have been a patient at Brightview ( Roberts Rd location) since February 2023. I love attending group sessions and individual counseling that I go bi-monthly. The path that I've been on with my sobriety has inspired me to want to help others on their path to recovery.
