Initially employed and worked as a PRN Phlebotomist for 1 year and 3 months, as it was the only phlebotomist position available, then accepted a Courier position due to the only full time position available. Duties as Phlebotomist included venipuncture blood collection, general specimen collection, order entry using Atlas system, and specimen processing and centrifuging in main office, and also in various client doctor's offices when needed. Duties as Courier included specimen pick up in out of town client office facilities, delivery of medical lab supplies, and keeping an excellent working rapport by communicating with clients when needed.

Accepting and processing orders for durable medical equipment, insurance verification, and order entry.
