In August of 2017 I went to Germany as a foreign exchange student thru our local Rotary Club of Ottumwa. I lived with three families during the year and got to experience many things and meet many people. I still keep in contact with many of my other foreign exchange students and travel to meet with them whenever I can.
I plan to start classes in 2023 to get my BA degree in Business through our college with a satelite office in Ottumwa, Buena Vista University.
I would take calls and handle calls for replacing glass on vehicles by scheduling appointments for Safelight Glass Company. I also dealt with insurance claims and body shops.
My job was to help sell products such as lotions and candles. I was also on the cashier for most of my time there. I helped with inventory on days when needed and shipping.
A lot of my everyday tasks were to help with cleaning and keeping organized the areas in all of the departments. I cleaned out dressing rooms putting clothes back where they belonged. I learned the cash register and I was in the jewelry department for most of the last year I was there.
My first year I helped with ticket scanning for the concerts and walking around the stadium making sure everyone is okay and safe. My second year I was in the handicapped section and I would help people find there seats and watch over certain areas.

I was born in Russia and was adopted when I was 7 months old. My family likes to travel and now I travel with my friends and family as often as I can.
I loved all the travel I did as a foreign exchange student and have gone back to Germany to visit my host family and friends. While traveling, I take pictures of everything. One of my photos I took on a Iceland Air flight that I posted, was published in their airline magazine.
