Funeral is my heart and soul. I cant imagine working in any other field. I'm entering my 6th year in the field this August. I work well in a team, but can also handle events on my own. I love the synergy of a great group of coworkers who love their job and have common goals. I tend to take the lead in situations, especially when I feel direction is lacking or the family is losing interest. I find that in the Funeral Industry you can bring compassion and comfort to families by working side by side with them to plan personalized celebrations of life or to pre-plan funerals. Unlike so many other sales trades, this profession has so much heart involved.
Aside from my experience working at Charlotte Memorial, I spent 8 years in the competitive field of Real Estate Sales, I held licenses in Connecticut and Florida. I was working non stop, and decided that it was time to go back to college. I found my calling at a young age, and always knew I wanted to be a Funeral Director. So I enrolled at SPC. I am known for multi-tasking, well-known for successfully turning problematic situations with disgruntled customers into positive, ongoing, loyal customers. I’m a notary public, aftercare and grief specialist, non-denominational chaplain, funeral celebrant and I’m licensed in Life and Annuity.
