I have 2 years of experience in stage production, at Northwestern High School in Prince Georges County, Maryland. The VPA (Visual and Performing Arts) program provides a very exclusive arts curriculum that I'm very much involved in, both for theatre and music. I'm a drummer and in a band which provides additional experience in set up and break down of equipment, and shows. This experience is excellent preparation towards being a valuable member of an Operations or Stagehand Team from the ground floor.
I'm a very adaptable and flexible person, so I can fill any role required (including a position in the box office, usher or concessions). I have connections the DC chapter of the Stagehand's Union IATSE Local 22, and an avenue to join it once I turn 18.
What I lack in professional experience, as I've yet to have a full time job, I make up for in passion for music the arts and performance production, and making sure all performances run as smoothly as possible. I'm very much looking to make a career in production in the live performance industry, and am confident that I would be a valuable addition the the Anthem/IMP team.
