Summary

For the past decade, I have navigated the challenges of living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, and this personal experience has fueled my passion for helping others with rare diseases. The medical field has always fascinated me, so I take every opportunity to shadow and volunteer. I have over 100 hours of shadowing in both the clinic and operating room, and I have volunteered in the PACU for about 40 hours. Additionally, I am an active member of the Alpha chapter of the Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity and the Alpha Psi chapter of the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honors Society.
