My name is Ethan Weatherly, I am 17 years of age, and I am a junior at Windsor High School. I am a motivated individual with hands-on experience in community outreach and public service. I always keep a positive attitude and work hard, I can also problem-solve and easily work on a team. I am very professional and adaptable to different work environments. I also have great communication skills and enjoy helping with whatever I can. Some hobbies I have are fishing & walking around and exploring the outdoors; I really love nature and being outside. After high school, I would like to get my EMT certification at the SRJC and work in EMS for a little while, then branch off from EMS and work as another kind of first responder such as a firefighter or law enforcement. - I show up twice a month to meetings led by sheriffs office deputies, where me and other explorers in the same program learn many skills that law enforcement officers must know; then most of the time, practice those skills.
- Go on ride-alongs with the sheriff deputies, where I get to help with various tasks at calls/traffic stops, and see how the deputies work these.
- Work community events doing traffic control, moving equipment and other things, community outreach, etc.
