I have been with OCWH since 2019 and feel that I've grown as a person with the company, im very grateful for the opportunities they've given me. The chemical tech position is something I have been interested in for some time now. I first applied for this position in 2021, after the interview process I was found unqualified. Since 2021 I have undertaken many different jobs and positions within the company hopefully proving my willingness to learn and do whatever it takes to succeed. Im currently employed full time and enjoy my job. To be upfront, Im interested in learning more about the position and the opportunities that come with it, but im apprehensive about leaving my current position.
Most recently, I've been the General Manager for Xtreme Clean Car Wash. At Xtreme Clean Car Wash I perform all managerial duties including: staffing, inventory and customer service relations. I also act as the locations sole maintenance provider, maintaining pneumatic, hydraulic and chemical delivery systems. One of my primary responsibilities includes maintaining a relationship between OCWH, the management company, and the locations owner G&R Investments INC. During my time at Xtreme Clean Car Wash, I also helped with the renovation, installation of new equipment, staffing, and training at our Coshocton location.
I've worked for OCWH since I joined the work force at 16. Under the tutelage of OCWH I've worked at 11 of their managed car wash locations. At these 11 locations I acted as an employee trainer, maintenance for new and old equipment, support for understaffed locations, and a crux for developing new locations into successful sites.
I worked at Starbrite as a support lube tech when the location was in need and I had already completed my salaried hours at Xtreme Clean Car Wash. Both locations share an owner, giving me a perfect opportunity to learn.
I started my career with OCWH at the Buckeye Express location in Norwalk as a CSR. At my home site in Norwalk I helped develop several teams of people and learned the fundamentals for success. From this location i was sent as support staff to other locations including: Elyria, Lorain, Ontario, and Ashland.
I was sent to help open one of OCWH's managed locations. At Zoom express I helped develop new staff including the site's manager, set company policies in place, find and solve problems with new equipment, and fill the schedule wherever I was needed.
I was sent to Pataskala during the Grand Opening of the location. While here, I helped train new staff and deal with the customer demand that comes with a new location.
I spent a month at the Avon location to fill scheduling needs and help develop new staff while they transitioned through new management.
