• In this position I support the nursing care staff in caring for 32 post-partum mothers and their newborns.
• Responsibilities include: Recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration; alerting medical staff of unsafe ranges, Foley removal, Blood draws, Measuring and charting patients' food and liquid intake/output.
• Providing physical support to assist patients with daily living activities such as getting out of bed, walking, toileting, bathing, and dressing.
• Lifting/assisting others in lifting patients on or off beds, exam tables, surgical tables, or stretchers, Changing bed linens and restocking patient rooms with personal hygiene items.
• Filling in as Unit Secretary: updating patient records online, maintaining patient medical charts, answering phone calls and patient call bells, and creating work orders.

• In this position I provided long-term and restorative care for elderly patients
• Responsibilities included: Providing wound care under direction of medical personnel, Assisting nurses and physicians in the operation of medical equipment, Providing physical support to assist patients with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and dressing patients who were unable to do so for themselves, Working with patients to continue range of motion exercises for upper and lower extremities following completion of formal PT.
