Volunteer Hours

From a young age I have been instilled with the value of helping others, always accompanied by a warm smile. When I was just 10 years old I began to help my church and Texas Ramp Project build wheelchair ramps for the disabled citizens of the Blanco County community. Later on in my high school years I would volunteering with LIONS Club to serve drinks. Additionally, I have sacrificed my time year after year to keep Johnson City clean by donning rubber gloves and combing the courthouse square and the Fair Grounds for the cola cans guests of Lights Spectacular and the Johnson City Rodeo have left behind. My garbage collection talents have also been used for several years during NHS's Highway clean up. During just my four years in high school I have accumulated over 40 hours of community service.
