I have 11 1/2 years of work experience with mental health clients. I am a Spec IV Supervisor (not a Unit Manager). I understand that teamwork is very important. The team consists of registered nurses, a psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse assistants. Each department is viable for the clients to be successful. I assisted the clients with their own individual treatment plan. I have supervised up 6 staff members on my assigned unit. Meal monitoring, clients vitals, and documentation were recorded daily for each client. I ensured that the staff and I helped the clients with their daily living schedule. I attended and supported clients in their group therapy and treatment team sessions. At the end of the day my goal as a supervisor was that the clients and my staff remained safe, healthy and followed the policy and procedures of Waco Center for Youth.
