• Coordinate clinical experiences for up to multiple SRNAs simultaneously across cardiac, general, neuro, vascular, and specialty anesthesia services.
• Successfully facilitate student progression toward graduation requirements through strategic case assignment and individualized mentorship.
• Foster strong partnerships with affiliated nurse anesthesia programs to maintain a high-quality clinical training site.

• Partner with the Chief CRNA in overseeing daily operations of a large anesthesia department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative patient care.
• Provide leadership and support for CRNAs, anesthesiologists, locum providers, and SRNAs across multiple service lines, including cardiac anesthesia
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, productivity management, and departmental workflow optimization.
• Facilitate orientation, clinical rotation, and mentorship of Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) and newly hired anesthesia providers.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, surgeons, nursing teams, and anesthesia personnel to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex anesthestic and operational issues.

• Provide Anesthetic management for ASA 1-4 adult patients at three HCA facilities. Anesthetic care comprised of preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management and post operative care and management. Types of cases includes general, open heart, transplants, vascular, urology, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology lab, neurointerventional radiology, GI, TEE, oral/maxillofacial, neurosurgery, robotic assisted, podiatry, and more.

• Provide anesthetic management for ASA 1-4 adults. Anesthetic care included but not limited to preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management, and post operative care and management. Type of cases included, GI, EP, general anesthetic for complex plastics, oncology patients, gynecology, ENT, trauma, vascular, and more

• Provide Anesthetic management for ASA 1-4 adult patients at three HCA facilities. Anesthetic care comprised of preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management and post operative care and management. Types of cases includes general, open heart, transplants, vascular, urology, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology lab, neurointerventional radiology, GI, TEE, oral/maxillofacial, neurosurgery, robotic assisted, podiatry, and more.

• Provide Anesthetic management for ASA 1-3 adult patients at a GI facility. Anesthetic includes Mac anesthesia for EGD and Colonoscopy procedures.

• Provide Anesthetic Management for ASA 1-4 adult, pediatric, and obstetric patients. Anesthetic care included but not limited to preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management and post operative care and management. Type of cases included, general, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, orthopedic, ENT, gynecology, neurointerventional radiology, GI, TEE, and more

• Provide Anesthetic management for ASA 1-4 adult patients at three HCA facilities. Anesthetic care comprised of preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management and post operative care and management. Anesthetic care comprised of preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management and post operative care and management. Types of cases includes general, open heart, transplants, vascular, urology, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology lab, neurointerventional radiology, GI, TEE, oral/maxillofacial, neurosurgery, robotic assisted, podiatry, and more.

Capstone Project: Curriculum Embedded Self-Care Strategies for Prevention of Psychological Distress Among Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Lead Investigator. Brief description: Led a doctoral wellness initiative with evidence-based practice project addressing the growing prevalence of stress, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation among SRNAs.

• Analyzed national data and current literature to identify modifiable risk factors impacting student wellness and academic success.
• Designed a comprehensive wellness framework incorporating peer mentorship, structured physical activity, financial literacy education, and faculty awareness initiatives.
• Presented recommendations aimed at improving student resilience, retention, and overall mental well-being within nurse anesthesia programs.
