• I manage a car booth which involves;
• Being communicative and patient with people
• Filling out forms, both physical and on the workstation, to assist contractors and truck drivers
• I perform vehicle screenings which include inspecting ID and paperwork
• I must be efficient with radio and telecommunications
• Above all, I must be vigilant and attentive. As my position of security also happens to be at a site which poses a higher risk to terrorist attacks.
• My position often requires multitasking and thinking of different ways to assist others
• Verified photo IDs and tickets to allow guests passage.
• Completed incident reports to record security or loss prevention incidents.
• Monitored surveillance cameras and responded to suspicious activity.
